A growing Mexican company in the food sector, with multi-channel operations, seeks to incorporate an Accounting Manager who wants to take on a strategic role within the organization.

The Challenge

You will be responsible for ensuring the correct accounting, tax, and financial operation of the group, guaranteeing compliance with current regulations, the reliability of financial information, and the generation of executive reports that serve as a basis for the strategic decision-making of the Directorate.

Furthermore, we expect you to be an agent of change, capable of identifying improvement opportunities, strengthening internal controls, developing the team, and continuously raising the level of the financial function.

Profile

• Degree in Public Accounting or a related field (graduated).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager or in equivalent positions.
• Indispensable experience in retail companies and/or with multiple branches.
• Proficiency in accounting, tax, and financial processes.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS (experience in US GAAP desirable).
• Proficiency in CONTPAQi; experience in NetSuite will be a differentiator.

Some of your responsibilities

• Lead the accounting and financial operation of the group.
• Ensure timely and reliable monthly and annual accounting closings.
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations.
• Supervise financial audits and physical inventories.
• Prepare and monitor budgets and financial analyses.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial administration.
• Provide financial support to the different business areas.
• Develop and strengthen the Accounting team.
