Accounting Manager

Objective: to ensure that financial information is complete, reliable, and issued in a timely manner through efficient management of accounting and financial operations, ensuring compliance with applicable Financial Reporting Standards.

Responsible for generating basic financial statements locally and corporately.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure the correct recording of the company's accounting and financial operations.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
• Prepare, analyze, and present required financial reports, local and corporate.
• Ensure the integrity and compliance of financial statements in accordance with corporate policies and applicable standards.
• Supervise compliance with internal controls, internal and external audit requirements.
• Coordinate and validate accounting reconciliations, provisions, account analyses, and consolidation processes.
• Develop and evaluate the accounting team, promoting continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with operational and financial areas to ensure compliance with organizational and corporate objectives.

Requirements:

• Public Accounting degree is essential.
• Solid experience and knowledge in general accounting, NIFs (IFRS).
• SAP S4Hana management is essential.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in multinational companies with their own manufacturing.
• Leadership of accounting teams.
• Solid knowledge in accounting closings and reporting.
• Experience in handling internal and external audits.
• Advanced English.
• Analytical skills.

• Accuracy and continuous improvement.
