Training Manager | Pre-opening
Grand Hyatt Cancún Beach Resort | Pre-Opening
Grand Hyatt Cancún Beach Resort, a new luxury resort with 500 rooms located in Puerto Cancún, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the Human Capital strategy during the pre-opening phase and the start of operations.
As a member of the Executive Committee, this position will be responsible for developing a high-performance culture, driving employee engagement, and ensuring that the Human Resources strategy contributes to the success of the business, aligned with Hyatt's values and standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the comprehensive Human Resources strategy for the hotel's opening and operation.
- Develop and implement talent attraction, selection, and onboarding strategies for a large-scale opening.
- Design and drive programs for training, leadership development, performance management, succession planning, and professional growth.
- Promote an organizational culture based on inclusion, well-being, recognition, and employee experience.
- Lead labor relations, collective agreement administration, and the relationship with the union representation, ensuring compliance with current labor legislation.
- Advise the General Manager and the Executive Committee on matters related to talent, organizational structure, leader development, work climate, and change management.
- Supervise the areas of Talent Attraction, Training, Labor Relations, Personnel Administration, and Engagement, ensuring the correct execution of Human Resources processes.
- Manage strategic Human Capital indicators, including turnover, coverage, productivity, engagement, training, and development, driving continuous improvement actions.
- Foster a work environment that reflects Hyatt's culture and strengthens both employee and guest experience.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Administration, or a related field.
- Experience as a Human Resources Manager or equivalent position in luxury hotels or large-scale resorts.
- Solid experience in leading multidisciplinary teams, labor relations, union negotiation, organizational development, training, and strategic talent management.
- Desirable experience in pre-opening projects or hotel openings.
- Knowledge of Mexican labor legislation and collective agreement administration.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Inspiring leadership, strategic vision, influence, ability to develop talent, and a strong orientation towards people and business.
