A Aegea Created in 2010, A Aegea is a leader in the private sector of basic sanitation in Brazil. In each municipality where it operates, it brings more health and quality of life to the population, always respecting the environment and local culture. The Concessionary Águas do Rio, concessionary of A Aegea, is responsible for water supply and sanitary drainage in 27 municipalities of the state of Rio de Janeiro, including 124 neighborhoods of the capital, serving 10 million people. During the concession period, it starts to develop a comprehensive plan for the management of sanitary landfills, with the goal of reducing the environmental impact of these facilities. The manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of this plan and ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should have experience in the management of sanitary landfills and a strong understanding of environmental regulations and best practices. Additionally, he/she should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with stakeholders, including local communities and government agencies. The manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce waste and increase recycling rates, as well as identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. The ideal candidate should have a strong track record of success in these areas and be able to demonstrate how their skills and experience align with the company's goals and objectives.
