External Audit Manager in Financial Services

What is the day-to-day of the position like?

As an Audit Manager at Deloitte, you will develop comprehensive external audit project plans including timeline and work allocation within the audit team and Audit Delivery Centers, as well as internal specialists, using prior knowledge to help identify priorities within audit cycles. You will evaluate contingency plans in cases where the entity's management team does not meet their deadlines. You will be responsible for substantially completing all necessary checklists, procedures, and adaptation and conclusion questions before the signing of audit documentation. You will put your leadership skills into practice by providing support to the team under your charge, facilitating technical knowledge to them, and supervising their execution. You will develop your objectivity, allowing you to consult in a timely manner with the Partners responsible for the engagement when dealing with complex situations, demonstrating commitment and quality. You will work in a dynamic and enriching environment with people from different cultures, perspectives, specialties, and knowledge. What is needed to apply?

• Graduate degree in Public Accounting, Administration, Economics (with a commitment to a specialization in Accounting).

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in reviewing assignments and workloads, generating plans to complete external audit cycles (including contingency plans), and supervising work teams.

• Indispensable knowledge of the regulations and norms of the Financial Sector in Mexico.

• Proficiency in CNBV/CNSF and/or CONSAR Norms.

• Solid experience auditing financial institutions.

• Advanced English.

• Tools: Office Suite.

• Skills: Assertive communication, client focus, active listening, commitment, professional integrity, proactivity, teamwork.
