Job description

National Vehicle Fleet Management

Objective of the position

Define and lead the national fleet strategy, generating sustainable value for the business through comprehensive asset management, operational excellence, cost optimization, innovation, and capability development.

Main activities

  • Design and execute the national strategy for fleet management, maintenance, renewal, and lifecycle.
  • Lead TPM, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce losses, costs, and downtime.
  • Drive the use of VecFleet, telemetry, Power BI, and data analytics to improve decision-making and fleet performance.
  • Manage fuel strategies, energy efficiency, safety, and compliance.
  • Lead the management of workshops, suppliers, and manufacturers, ensuring service levels and results.
  • Administer OPEX and CAPEX budgets, prioritizing investments based on total cost of ownership and value generation.
  • Identify, test, and scale innovation initiatives and best practices at the national level.
  • Develop teams and capabilities, promoting a culture of leadership, collaboration, innovation, and results orientation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial, Automotive, Transportation, Logistics Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in fleets, maintenance, transportation, assets, logistics, or operations.
  • 3+ years leading multi-site teams or projects, preferably with regional or national scope.
  • Experience in large-scale fleet management, maintenance, TPM, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in supplier management, OPEX/CAPEX budgets, and total cost of ownership.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite; experience with Power BI and ERP systems.
  • Intermediate-advanced English proficiency.
  • Availability to travel nationally.
  • Desirable experience in VecFleet, telemetry, and predictive maintenance.
