The project manager assistant will work under the supervision of the project manager and actively participate in the realization and complete management of construction projects. He/she will collaborate and negotiate with various partners, including subcontractors, superintendents, estimators, professionals (architects and engineers), as well as the client.

RESPONSABILITIES
  • Prepare and follow up on tenders for subcontracting lots;
  • Perform comparative price analysis and submit results to the project manager;
  • Participate in contract negotiations with the project manager;
  • Prepare with the project manager and superintendent the project schedule;
  • Update this schedule throughout the project;
  • Prepare and follow up on technical questions related to plans and designs;
  • Aid the project manager in managing client payment requests and those of subcontractors;
  • Manage and review workshop drawings and samples;
  • Participate in conflict detection when the project is realized in BIM;
  • Organize and participate in site meetings with subcontractors and client meetings;
  • Participate with the project manager in managing client changes and subcontractor requests for change;
  • Fully follow up and manage deficiencies at the end of the project;
  • E nsure the assembly of final project documents in collaboration with the administrative assistant.



RequirementsEXIGENCES
  • Bachelor's degree in building, civil or construction engineering;
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Suite Office and MS Project;
  • Bilingualism English-French – (an asset);
  • Reading plans and designs.
