Geotechnical Engineer – Road and Sewer Works

As Geotechnical Engineer at BESIX, you play a key role in the preparatory phase of our road and sewer projects. You conduct geotechnical analyses and translate your findings into practical advice for design and execution. Specifically, you:
- Collect and analyze data from site investigations, soundings, and laboratory tests. If additional drilling is required, you will also accompany this process.
- Prepare desk studies for road and sewer works, including stability and settlement calculations.
- Identify geotechnical risks and formulate advice to optimize execution methods.
- Prepare technical reports and recommendations for the construction and design team.
- Closely collaborate with project engineers, designers, consulting firms, and contractors.
- Provide support during execution in case of unexpected geotechnical challenges.
