The Role

You’ll be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and reporting on geotechnical hazards across the underground operation. Your day-to-day will include underground inspections, instrumentation monitoring, ground support recommendations, and collaborating with engineers, consultants, and operational teams.

To be successful, you will have:
  • A tertiary qualification in Geotechnical, Geological, or Mining Engineering
  • Chartered status or working towards it
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in underground metals mining
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical monitoring tools and ground support systems
  • High-level reporting and communication skills
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to site-based engineering
