Geotechnical Engineer

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, analyzing, and advising on infrastructure projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with architects, project managers, contractors, and external consultants. Your main responsibilities include: * Performing geotechnical analyses, designs, and calculations. * Conducting stability studies and calculations for various projects in accordance with Eurocodes and Belgian annexes. * Designing structural elements, such as foundations, retaining walls, and embankments. * Preparing technical reports, specifications, and drawings. * Overseeing and interpreting soil investigations, including laboratory testing and field investigations. * Providing technical support during the construction phase. * Managing projects and ensuring compliance with regulations. * Collaborating with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders. Required skills and experience: * Master's degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering. * At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role. * In-depth knowledge of geotechnical principles and practices. * Proficiency in geotechnical software, such as Plaxis, Geo5, or similar. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent communication and reporting skills. * Fluency in English and Dutch, both written and spoken.
