Human Resources Generalist

Job description

Job Definition and Mission The HR Generalist provides daily HR support for all site employees, under the supervision of the HR Manager. They are the local point of contact for the entire HR cycle: recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, personnel management, employee management, and internal events. Their mission is to ensure the reliability and fluidity of HR processes, while contributing to the engagement, retention, and performance objectives defined by the HR team. RESPONSIBILITIES HR Support - Support the HR Manager and management teams by providing daily HR support, aligned with business needs. - Contribute to employee recruitment, retention, and engagement processes. - Support managers in conducting recruitment processes. - Handle routine recruitment tasks: drafting job offers, candidate pre-screening, conducting interviews, and making offers. - Ensure a successful experience, including managing the welcome pack and integration programs. - Manage processes related to employee arrivals and departures, ensuring smooth transitions. Personnel Administration and Compliance - Keep employee files up to date (contracts, amendments, personal data), in compliance with Swiss labor law and GDPR. - Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, particularly regarding health, safety, and legal requirements; report anomalies to the HR Manager if necessary. - Support the HR Manager during audits and monitor regulatory changes. - Contribute to the drafting of HR reports and analyses to support decision-making. - Collaborate closely with Payroll and Time Management Specialists to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and absences. Employee Culture and Engagement - Maintain strong relationships with employees by being their first point of contact for any daily questions or needs. - Promote an open and inclusive company culture, aligned with the company's values. - Participate in the implementation of initiatives aimed at strengthening employee engagement, morale, and well-being, and coordinate internal events, including team-building activities and themed days. Performance and Skills Development - Contribute to monitoring the career development plans of high-potential employees. - Support the deployment of suitable training programs, in collaboration with the HR Manager and management. - Manage all aspects related to HR. - Ensure that HR processes are effective and aligned with company objectives. - Keep HR systems up to date, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. - Compile HR indicators and provide the HR Manager with actionable analyses. Cultural Alignment and Values - Embody the company's values by integrating them into daily work, fostering a culture of excellence, respect, and kindness, promoting inclusion, diversity, and a positive company culture. - Contribute to programs reinforcing the company's mission, vision, and values. PROFILE - Higher education in HR or equivalent business field; Federal Certificate of HR Specialist or in progress is highly appreciated. - 4 to 6 years of experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in hospitality, luxury, health/wellness, or a similar service environment. SKILLS - Experience in personnel administration: mastery of processes related to the entire employee lifecycle (contracts, amendments, personnel file management, absence and leave tracking), with a good knowledge of Swiss labor law and rigor in documentary and legal compliance (GDPR/LPD). - Proficiency in office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ideally an HRIS (Human Resources Information System). - Proactive and curious: anticipates team needs rather than reacting to them, proposes solutions, and seeks to understand the workings of different departments to better support them. - Aptitude for recruitment: comfortable in dynamic environments, enjoys human interaction, and is interested in sourcing and interview techniques to actively contribute to company recruitment. - Fluent French and English. - Discretion, rigor, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team under the supervision of the HR Manager. jid390d6ffafr jit0834afr jpiy26afr
