About the Opportunity
A leading provider in the tertiary care healthcare sector delivering acute and elective surgical services in a regional hospital setting. We are expanding surgical capability in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh and seeking a hands-on laparoscopic general surgeon to join an on-site clinical team focused on high-quality perioperative care and minimally invasive solutions.

• Perform elective and emergency laparoscopic general surgery procedures (e.g., cholecystectomy, hernia repair, appendectomy, diagnostic & therapeutic laparoscopy) with high standards of safety and documentation.
• Lead pre-operative assessment, intra-operative decision-making and comprehensive post-operative care including complication management and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate surgical records, contribute to clinical audits and monitor outcomes to drive quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor junior surgeons, residents and theatre staff; support structured training in minimally invasive techniques.
• Collaborate with anaesthesia, critical care and nursing teams to manage perioperative pathways and on-call emergency coverage.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards, hospital protocols and equipment safety checks for MIS instrumentation and energy devices.

• Proven consultant-level experience in laparoscopic surgery with prior on-site hospital practice; comfortable with on-call responsibilities in Sitapur.
