DPA and MM5 location

Location: Nanango, QLD, Australia

Contract Details: Full-time, minimum 2 year duration

GP2Oz Ltd is a supporting a primary care provider in regional Queensland, dedicated to providing high-quality medical services to the local community, who is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Practitioner to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting thorough patient consultations, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnosis of illnesses

- Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients, including prescribing medications and referrals to specialists

- Providing preventative care and health education to patients

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records

- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients

- Participating in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution

- Ability to gain registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

- Proven experience as a General Practitioner, preferably in a regional or rural setting

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to healthcare

- Willingness to participate in after-hours and on-call duties as required
