General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner

An opportunity has become available for a General/Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established, family-friendly practice in Central Auckland that has served the local community for more than 50 years. With 3,000 enrolled patients and consistent demand, this role offers the chance to walk into a ready-made patient base, supported by an experienced Registered Nurse and a dedicated Practice Manager. The Role You will be supported by a highly experienced full-time RN who has been part of the practice for over 20 years. Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care, including routine check-ups, acute illness management, and chronic disease management. • Work closely with the Practice Manager to develop and implement practice policies and procedures. • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient care, share knowledge and expertise, and provide support to colleagues. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, using our electronic medical record system. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in primary care.
