General Practitioner - Charters Towers QLD (Job - 10003018)

Job Title: General Practitioner – Charters Towers Practice Information: The practice currently has two full time general practitioners who are servicing between 300 - 400 patients per week and are looking for another general practitioner to join their team. The practice is fully computerised with great support staff including three Receptionists, two Nurses and Practice Manager. We are a fully Bulk billed and accredited practice. Position Description: We are currently looking for a General practitioner who will work in a busy practice providing high quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team and have a strong commitment to delivering high standards of patient care. Requirements: • Must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) • Must hold a current General Medical Council (GMC) registration or equivalent • Must have a minimum of 2 years postgraduate experience in general practice • Must have a strong understanding of the Australian healthcare system and relevant legislation • Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with patients, colleagues and other health professionals.
