Are you a VR GP who specialises in women's health looking for an opportunity to work as a female specialist GP in Tasmania?
The Practice
Our client is looking for a part-time female specialist GP with no restrictions who specialises in women’s health to practice on Bruny Island.
The Location
Bruny Island is a 362-square-kilometre island located off the south-eastern coast of Tasmania, Australia. It's just 45 minutes from Tasmania’s capital city of Hobart. Bruny Island is a treasure trove of natural beauty, abundant wildlife, talented local producers, and captivating history.

The Practice
Our client is looking for a part-time female specialist GP with no restrictions who specialises in women’s health to practice on Bruny Island.
- Open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am-4pm
- The practice uses Medical Director and PRSoft software
- Online bookings
- Comprehensive clinical protocols and internal supply network for all necessary PPE and other equipment
- Practice is supported by visiting Allied Health, and Registered Nurses to assist with CDM, immunisations and women’s health
- Technology is kept up to date and subscriptions to useful online resources are offered.

- DPA MMM6 location
- Eligible for rural relocation & retention grants
- PEP Standard Stream, PEP Specialist Stream, FSP Fellowship Support Program, ACRRM Independent Pathway & Specialist Pathway, Remote Vocational Training Scheme, Expedited Specialist Pathway Rural Generalist Training Scheme
- RA4 location offering significant reduction in moratorium
- Sponsorship available
- 45 minutes from Hobart

- General Registration or Vocational Registration with AHPRA
- Current emergency medicine certificate (APLS, ELS etc.)
