General Practitioner – Casual

Body Recon is seeking a reliable and professional General Practitioner who is passionate about skin cancer detection and aesthetics to join our premier clinic in Geelong. If you are looking to work as a Skin Cancer Doctor or General Practitioner in a supported environment, then you may be a good fit as part of our bespoke cosmetic team.

Overseen by Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon Dr Richard Rahdon, the role would include working alongside our dermal therapists and cosmetic nurses to perform skin checks, referrals for rebatable medical laser treatments and lesion excisions in our in-rooms operating facility at St John of God Hospital. More complex cases can be referred to Dr Rahdon for surgical procedures where required, including referral to an MDT environment in the public or private sector.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to attend theatre with Dr Rahdon to learn advanced skin cancer techniques e.g. skin flaps and grafts, many of which can be performed in a local anaesthetic environment. There will also be extensive opportunities to learn about laser treatment of lesions and skin conditions.
