General Manager (Warehouse, Distribution, 3PL)

Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all operational aspects of the 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) warehousing and distribution business. Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Lead and manage a team of operations staff, including warehouse supervisors, logistics coordinators, and drivers. Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, storing, and shipping of goods. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operations. Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the business is operating within budget. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Identify and mitigate risks to the business. Develop and implement processes for continuous improvement and employee development. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion. Provide coaching, training, and feedback to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
