General Manager, Asia – QSR Business

P&L Ownership | Franchise Network Growth | Brand Expansion The Opportunity Our client is a globally recognised Quick Service Restaurant business with a fast-growing footprint across Asia, operating primarily through a franchise model. With strong momentum in key markets and an ambitious agenda to accelerate network expansion and elevate brand performance across the region, they are seeking a General Manager, Asia to lead their next phase of regional growth. This is a senior commercial leadership role with full P&L accountability, responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational execution of the business across the region. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement the regional business strategy, in alignment with global objectives, to achieve ambitious growth targets. * Full P&L ownership and accountability, ensuring financial performance meets or exceeds targets. * Lead and mentor a high-performing regional team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. * Oversee the franchise network, providing strategic guidance and support to franchisees to drive sales and profitability. * Identify and evaluate new market opportunities for expansion, working with the development team to secure new franchise partners. * Drive brand building and marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and customer loyalty. * Ensure operational excellence across all restaurants, including food safety, quality, and customer service. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including franchisees, suppliers, and internal teams. * Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. Requirements: * Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry, with a strong understanding of franchise models. * Demonstrated success in driving business growth and achieving financial targets in a multi-unit, multi-country environment. * Experience managing a franchise network, with a focus on building strong relationships with franchisees. * Strong commercial acumen and the ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and develop effective strategies. * Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. * Experience working in Asia is essential, with a deep understanding of the cultural nuances and business practices in the region. * Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
