General Farm Worker General Farm Worker – Stone & Top Fruit Farm - Kent £30,000 – £50,000 DOE The Farm: We are representing a well-established 8-hectare stone and top fruit farm based in Faversham, Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and reliable General Farm Worker to join a close-knit team on a progressive fruit farm. The Role: The successful candidate will take on a broad range of responsibilities, supporting the day-to-day running of the farm throughout the year. This is a physically demanding role that requires flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops to ensure high-quality yields. • Support the farm's irrigation system, including checking and repairing leaks. • Maintain farm equipment and vehicles in good working order. • Assist with animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, cleaning, and monitoring the health of livestock. • Participate in farm maintenance activities, including pruning, weeding, and mowing. • Work closely with the farm team to achieve seasonal targets and goals. The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a General Farm Worker who is motivated, reliable, and physically fit. You will have experience working on a farm or in an agricultural environment, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience working on a farm or in an agricultural environment. • Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 25kg) and work at heights. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and bank holidays. • Valid driving license (desirable).
