ABOUT THE ROLE As a General Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll carry out a range of tasks to help us provide the quality care and support our residents deserve. No two days will be the same as you take on diverse responsibilities across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and catering. Caring and empathetic, as a General Assistant you'll put our residents first by ensuring their daily needs are met. This includes assisting with personal care, meal times, and other activities. You'll also help maintain the cleanliness of the home, including the laundry and catering areas. Your attention to detail will be crucial in keeping our residents' living spaces tidy and comfortable. As a General Assistant, you'll work closely with our care team to ensure that every resident receives the highest level of care and support.
