General Accountant Lead & Analyst (m/f/d)

We are looking for a General Accountant Lead & Analyst to join the General Ledger (GL) team. This role is much more than a senior accountant position: you will cover all current activity flows (supplier, customer, fixed asset cycles), with a high degree of transverse reporting at closing, while maintaining a critical management control perspective on operations. You will be responsible for the quality of accounts, lead the team's AI transformation, and act as a business partner for the Finance and operational departments.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Lead all current accounting cycles (suppliers, customers, fixed assets, expenses) and ensure their reliability across the group, systematically integrating a management control-type analytical review (Actual vs. Budget/N-1, anomaly detection, P&L impact anticipation)
• Orchestrate end-to-end closing processes in a 'control tower' posture: inter-team coordination, transverse reporting, analytical cost allocation, internal control, and SOX documentation integrated daily
• Identify and lead digital transformation and AI projects (Dust agents, R2R solutions, RPA) and build self-supporting deliverables (self-service dashboards, dynamic KPIs) to reduce ad hoc requests
• Standardize group accounting practices and contribute to the 'accounting integration kit' to support internationalization
• Embody the business partner role by translating accounting challenges into business language and ensuring active regulatory monitoring

You could be the next member of our team if you:

• Hold a higher education degree in Accounting/Finance (DSCG, Master CCA, Grande École, DEC in progress or obtained)
• Have 8 to 10 years of experience in general accounting and/or audit, including at least 3 years in a management or technical leadership position
• Have significant experience in a Big 4 (Manager/Senior Manager) and/or in a fast-growing international company
• Are proficient in IFRS standards (including IFRS 16, 15) and French GAAP, and have extensive experience in SOX environments
• Demonstrate a strong analytical mindset and the ability to integrate management control into your accounting practice
• Are comfortable with modern ERP systems and proficient in Excel/Google Sheets at an advanced level
• Speak fluent English (C1/C2) — daily communication with international teams
• Are a natural leader, capable of uniting, mentoring, and driving change

It would be fantastic if you also had:

• Experience in the Tech/SaaS sector and/or in a multi-country environment
• Knowledge of SAP and/or Coupa
• Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Tableau) and close management solutions
• Demonstrated experience with AI tools applied to accounting (AI agents, RPA, intelligent OCR, predictive models) or a strong aptitude for these subjects
• An understanding of consolidation mechanisms and corporate finance issues

The recruitment process

• First interview with the recruitment team (30 min)
• Operational interview with the Accounting Director (1h)
• Technical case study (1h)
• Final interview with a member of the Finance leadership team (45 min)
• At least one reference check

• Compensation: fixed + variable based on objectives (depending on profile)
• This position is eligible for partial remote work (2 days/week)
