Certified Personal Counselor (Intellectual Disabilities Sector)

Are you a healthcare professional who wants to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities? As a personal counselor at Lies, you provide intensive support to children, youth, and adults, enabling them to live at home longer and participate actively in society.

Please note: A completed, relevant diploma is a strict requirement for this position.

Your role as a personal counselor

• You are the first point of contact for clients and their relatives
• You conduct periodic evaluation interviews and draw up care plans
• You provide tailored support, both individually and in small groups
• You organize activities focused on enjoyment, development, and successful experiences
• You work with clients with, among other things, intellectual disabilities, behavioral problems, and ASD

What we expect from you

• A relevant pedagogical education, at least MBO-4 level (e.g., Social Work, Personal Counselor for Social Care or Intellectual Disabilities Care)
• Experience with the target group in the intellectual disabilities sector or youth care
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts
• Driver's license and own car
• Ability to work independently and organize consultations

• Salary in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Intellectual Disabilities Care, scale 40: €2836.00 - €3825.00 per month
