Job description

Do you want to work at a unique location in The Hague, where safety, alertness, and cooperation are paramount?

Job Description

You want to work at Trigion because you…

  • are not a number. As a family business, we have short lines of communication and personal contact with Planning and your team leader.
  • work with colleagues you can always count on, for questions or a personal conversation.
  • want to grow. There are opportunities to obtain your coordination diploma and grow into a security team leader, or to become a practical supervisor for aspiring security guards.
  • become part of a new team on a new project at Defense, where you will help build from the start.

Your workday as a Supervisory Construction Security Guard

You start your shift together with your colleagues at the Defense location in The Hague. After the briefing and a cup of coffee, you will get to work at one of the posts on the premises.

During your shift:

  • You supervise the construction site.
  • You check construction personnel, suppliers, and visitors.
  • You work at access gates, control posts, and on patrol.
  • You perform X-ray checks.
  • You verify that employees are working at the correct location.
  • You address people when necessary.
  • You switch between different tasks and posts throughout the day.

You ensure that only authorized persons gain access to the premises and that the construction project proceeds safely and according to agreements.

You make a difference at this location

You will work on one of the most special construction projects in the Netherlands. The site has an increased security level and requires people who are alert, take responsibility, and communicate clearly.

You work from Monday to Friday between 06:00 and 19:00 in day and evening shifts of 12 hours. Together with a fixed team, you ensure a safe working environment for everyone on the premises every day.

What you get

A job with certainty: in our stable family business, things are well organized, and we look out for each other. You can count on:

  • A challenging role at a unique Defense location in The Hague.
  • A gross hourly wage between €17.37 and €20.70 according to the Private Security collective labor agreement, depending on your experience.
  • Irregularity allowances.
  • A one-year contract and, with good performance, a permanent contract.
  • 13 salary payments per year.
  • Full travel expenses reimbursement if you travel by public transport or €0.23 per km (from 9 km).
  • Pension scheme, end-of-year bonus, and holiday pay.
  • Uniform and dry cleaning allowance and collective discount on your health insurance.
  • Plenty of development opportunities. You get access to online training courses from the Trigion Academy.

Who you are

With your enthusiasm, you politely address employees, customers, and visitors. You also dare to confront people and act decisively when necessary. Thanks to your curiosity and alert attitude, you quickly recognize striking situations, allowing you to intervene before a situation escalates. You also have a helpful attitude towards visitors and contribute to a safe environment. Additionally:

  • A diploma Security Guard 2 (SVPB/SBB or equivalent).
  • A valid identification for a private security organization.
  • Experience with or willingness to perform searches.
  • Good knowledge of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
