Building Energy Consultant (M/W/D)

We make buildings energy-efficient. Here, architects, civil engineers, and energy consultants work together to renovate the building stock. We transform energy-intensive buildings into climate-neutral properties – whether it's a single-family home, non-residential building, historic monument, or residential quarter. Through high-quality work, partnership, and willingness to take new paths, we actively shape the energy transition in the building sector.

Our clients are primarily municipal and private housing companies, property management companies, and private customers in Lower Saxony, Bremen, and Berlin, whom we accompany on their journey towards decarbonizing their property portfolio.

Tasks

You will work with us on exciting projects in the area of existing properties and new builds (residential, commercial, and quarter developments) – from analysis to implementation.

• Comprehensive energy consulting for planning, conception, and accompanying energy-efficient new build and renovation projects
• Preparation of individual renovation plans including consultation, on-site meetings, energetic evaluation, and documentation
• Preparation of energy certificates for residential and non-residential buildings
• Funding advice, management, and application at BAFA, KfW
• Documentation and accompaniment of energetically relevant building projects
• Preparation of efficiency house and heat protection reports according to GEG
• Calculation of heat bridges, heating loads, hydraulic balancing
• Preparation of ventilation and air tightness concepts

You shape actively – from energy-efficient renovations for housing companies to ambitious new builds and private property owners.

Qualification

You bring with you

FACHLICH

• Completed studies (architecture, civil engineering) or related technical vocational training – lateral entry possible
• Technical and building physics basic understanding
• Interest in regenerative energy systems (heat pumps, photovoltaics etc.)
• Safe handling of MS Office and the Hottgenroth Energy Consultant Software
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking
