GAT Coordinator

Purpose of the assignment

The GAT-coordinator is temporarily responsible for setting up, coordinating, and professionalizing the General Acceptance Test (GAT) process from a business perspective. The goal is to realize and secure an effective, transparent, and predictable acceptance process with clear deliverables.

The initial focus lies on the department of Aanvragerskeuze, with the possibility of rolling out the set-up GAT process organization-wide.

Assignment description

The professional is responsible for:

• Setting up and improving the GAT process from a business perspective;

• Creating full insight into test activities and progress;

• Timely and realistic planning of acceptance tests;

• Effective and efficient execution of the acceptance process;

• Safeguarding that acceptance is a qualitative process and not just a formal signature.

In addition, the professional supports and coaches business stakeholders in performing acceptance tests and formulating clear acceptance criteria.

About the organization

The Instituut Mijnbouwschade Groningen (IMG) is an independent administrative body that handles damage caused by gas extraction in the Groningenveld and gas storage facilities Norg and Grijpskerk.

• Sets up and documents the GAT process;

• Clear role and responsibility distribution;

Requirements

• At least 3 years of demonstrable experience as a Test Manager or Test Coordinator in complex environments;

• At least 2 years of experience with identifying and solving capacity and planning bottlenecks;

• At least 2 years of experience working together with IV departments and project/program managers;

• A completed HBO or WO degree (Business Administration, Business Informatics, IT management, or equivalent);

• ISTQB Foundation and ISTQB Advanced certification;

• Experience with Tricentis AS2.

Wishes

• Knowledge of SAFe (e.g. SAFe Agilist or SAFe Practitioner);

• Experience with implementation and change management (e.g. Prosci ADKAR);

• Experience with organization-wide test planning;

• Experience with setting up, guiding, and monitoring test processes;

• Experience with coaching and training business stakeholders;

• Good command of Dutch and English (at least B2);

• Experience within Dutch government organizations;

• Preferring to be living in a northern province;

• Willingness to work approximately 50% on-site.
