Offer excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction;
Take orders and serve food and drinks;
Make menu recommendations, answer questions and share additional information with superiors;
Greet and escort customers to their tables;
Present the menu and provide detailed information when requested (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies);
Prepare tables by setting up cloths, cutlery, and glassware;
Inform customers about the daily specials, make menu recommendations if requested
Upsell additional products when appropriate;
Accurately record food and beverage orders using POS software, order taking, or memorization;
Verify customer identities to ensure they are of legal drinking age;
Communicate order details to the kitchen brigade;
Serve food and beverage orders, check the cleanliness and presentation of dishes and cutlery, and report any issues;
Clear tables and keep the dining area organized, take dirty dishes, glasses, and cutlery to the kitchen for cleaning;
Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, menu changes, and service specifications for reservations (e.g., parties);
Follow all relevant Ministry of Health regulations
