Game Balancer / Economy Designer (m/w/d)

Tasks

• Balancing in-game economies, progression systems, rewards, currencies, and features
• Analysis of player and economic data (e.g. spins, bets, wallets, XP curves, retention, monetization)
• Development and maintenance of balancing models, formulas, and rulebooks
• Conducting simulations, tests, and iterations (e.g. scenarios, edge cases, exploits)
• Tight collaboration with game design, monetization, BI, and development
• Translating complex numerical models into understandable concepts and decisions
• Documented balancing logics and support for feature explanations & tutorials

Qualification

• Strong affinity to numbers and analytical thinking
• Passion for games – ideally with understanding of game economies, progression, or monetization
• Experience or strong interest in: Game Design / Economy Design / Balancing
• Data analysis or statistical models
• Ideal candidate has IT or programming background (e.g. Python, SQL, Excel/Sheets, simulations, scripting)
• Able to structure and explain complex relationships clearly
• Independent, solution-oriented work style
