The tasks are:

• Preparation of workpieces for the galvanizing process (e.g. cleaning, degreasing, etching)
• Conducting galvanized coatings with various metals (e.g. nickel, chrome, zinc, copper)
• Monitoring and controlling the galvanizing plants as well as checking the bath parameters
• Carrying out quality tests on coated workpieces (e.g. thickness measurement, visual inspection)
• Maintenance, care, and cleaning of the facilities, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Documented process documentation and test results
• If necessary, post-processing of workpieces (e.g. polishing, passivation)

The skills you bring:

• Completed training as a Galvanizer, Surface Coater or equivalent qualification
• Experience in the field of galvanotechnology is desirable
• Techical understanding and meticulous, quality-conscious working method
• Willingness to work in shift operation (if necessary)
• Knowledge of handling chemicals as well as storage and disposal
• Teamwork, sense of responsibility, and reliability
• Good German language skills in writing and speaking
