Position… To strengthen our Documentary Credit team, we are looking for a Documentary Credit Officer to join our dynamic team based in Geneva. As a Documentary Credit Officer, you will be responsible for the following tasks: * Reviewing, advising and processing documentary credit transactions (import and export) * Checking and validating documents in accordance with UCP 600 * Managing and monitoring discrepancies and following up with all parties involved * Preparing payments and reimbursements, including related accounting * Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, local regulations and international standards (e.g. UCP 600, ISBP) * Providing support and advice to internal and external clients on documentary credit-related matters * Contributing to the development and improvement of documentary credit processes Your profile: * Relevant experience in Documentary Credits, preferably within a banking environment * Good knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP and other relevant regulations * Attention to detail and accuracy in document examination and processing * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Fluent in English and French, German is a plus * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines We offer: * A challenging and rewarding position in a dynamic and international environment * The opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in the field of Documentary Credits * A competitive salary and benefits package * The opportunity to work in a multicultural and stimulating environment * The possibility of professional development and training
