For Kopfsachen to continue to grow and reach more young people, we need reliable and diverse funding. In this role, you will ensure that we identify relevant funding opportunities early, submit compelling applications, and make our impact visible to funding partners.
The focus of your work will be on grants and the search for new funding opportunities for Kopfsachen. • Fixed-term: Initially for one year

We are looking for a proactive, structured, and communicative personality with initial practical experience or exposure to fundraising, especially with grant applications. You don't need to be a fundraising expert yet: What's important to us is that you are eager to quickly familiarize yourself with the funding landscape, take responsibility, and develop professionally.
Your Mission

As a Fundraising & Partnerships Manager, you will significantly contribute to securing and further developing the long-term financing of our work. You will research suitable funding opportunities, develop convincing applications and reports, and actively seek out new fundraising chances. You won't wait for opportunities to come to us but will enjoy developing new contacts, programs, and networks. At the same time, you will ensure that our locations are well-supported in funding matters and that our funding partners can understand the impact their support enables.

Your Tasks

• You will research relevant funding programs, calls for proposals, and potential funding partners, and actively identify new funding opportunities for Kopfsachen.
• You will develop and write compelling grant applications and be responsible for the associated grant reports.
• You will keep track of ongoing applications, deadlines, and requirements, and ensure reliable and structured management of interfaces.
• Together with the fundraising team, you will further develop new approaches for our financing and introduce structures and processes that make our fundraising work more efficient.
• You will be the point of contact for our location managers on questions regarding financing, funding opportunities, and partnerships, and support them with regional grant applications.
• You will ensure good communication between fundraising and our locations and develop helpful structures, templates, and resources for collaboration.
• You will contribute to our impact and annual reports and prepare scientific findings, key figures, and impact data in an understandable way for our funding partners.
• To do this, you will work closely with the impact and communication teams and ensure that relevant information for reports is well-integrated.

Your Profile

• You have gained initial practical experience or exposure to fundraising, grant applications, project financing, or comparable topics.
• Ideally, you are already familiar with the funding landscape in Germany and have an initial understanding of what makes good grant applications and reports.
• You can quickly learn new topics and take responsibility for your tasks.
• Even as a career changer, you are very welcome here if you bring relevant experience from areas such as project management, communication, non-profit work, academia, or public funding.
• You work independently, structured, and reliably, and can keep an overview even with multiple parallel projects and deadlines.
• You enjoy writing and can communicate complex content clearly, understandably, and target-group-specifically.
• You are proactive, approachable, and enjoy developing new contacts and funding opportunities.
• You enjoy working with diverse teams and communicate confidently with internal and external contacts.
• You have very good German language skills, both written and spoken (C2).
• You are motivated to help shape our mission and make a concrete impact on the mental health of young people through your work.
