PL/SQL Specialist Functional Manager

Job description

For Gemeente Eindhoven, we are looking for a PL/SQL Specialist Functional Manager. As a functional manager with extensive knowledge of PL/SQL scripts, you will work on fully phasing out all PL/SQL scripts that perform mutations on the Oracle database of SuitesSD. You will not only manage existing scripts but also focus on replacing them with sustainable solutions.

Your responsibilities

Analyze and plan the phasing out of remaining PL/SQL scripts (approximately 30 pieces).
Realize alternative functionality within SuitesSD or alternative solutions, such as RPA.
Document, test, and if necessary temporarily maintain scripts.
Collaborate with functional managers and executive teams to ensure a smooth transition.
Maintain progress and deadlines with the goal of completing the project within 6 months.

You will work together with colleague functional managers, IT business partners, program managers, the RPA team, and the business.

Your profile

You possess an HBO-level of education and thinking.
You have extensive knowledge and experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
You have experience with Oracle DBMS.
Knowledge of SuitesSD is a plus, or you are willing to quickly learn it.
You have a strong analytical ability and a project-oriented approach.
You work independently, are result-driven, and meet deadlines.
You have a customer-focused attitude, can work well together, and are solution-oriented.
