Are you the expert who ensures our technological environment is always mission-ready? As our new Functional Administrator, you are the crucial link between SimCenMar and the end-users – from naval schools and training centers to naval ships and research teams.
You ensure that our simulation applications are always 'ready-to-go'. You do this by specifying the correct software and hardware, installing them on-site, and guiding users through the systems. When technical challenges arise, you are the expert who finds the solution and guarantees continuity.
In addition to supporting users, you act as the technical sparring partner for our internal network. You advise on the necessary specifications, manage user accounts, and ensure our infrastructure always remains state-of-the-art through proactive replacement plans. As an expert in the field of simulation, you closely monitor the latest technological developments so that our systems always function optimally.

The Royal Netherlands Navy strongly values personal growth and career development and offers numerous opportunities for this. In addition to your salary, you receive an Individual Choice Budget (ICB). The ICB consists of money (16.33% of your gross annual salary) and time. With the ICB, you make the choices that suit you and can customize part of your employment conditions yourself. For example, you can choose to have part of your monthly income paid out when you wish. You can also convert this budget into extra vacation hours or spend it on tax-friendly goals, such as an (electric) bicycle or laptop. It is also possible to (temporarily) reduce your working hours by a few hours per week.
We also believe it is important that you can combine working at Defense with your private life. Various leave arrangements (e.g., 75% paid parental leave) and attention to physical and mental health contribute to a good balance. For example, you can use our extensive sports facilities free of charge. In addition to a pension scheme with ABP, you receive a monthly commuting allowance or can opt for an unlimited travel public transport subscription throughout the Netherlands under favorable conditions.

The job interviews will take place on Monday, November 2nd, and Tuesday, November 3rd.
