Functional Data Owner - PP & QM

Job Description We are looking for an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) Functional Consultant with strong data migration experience to support a global SAP transformation program within the life sciences sector. In this role, you will serve as the global focal point for Production Planning and Quality Management data objects during migration, partnering with functional, technical, and business teams to ensure successful data readiness and migration execution. Your responsibilities will include: • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of SAP PP and QM modules, including data models, workflows, and interfaces. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement data migration strategies for production planning and quality management data objects. • Providing subject matter expertise on SAP PP and QM data objects, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical feasibility. • Developing and maintaining documentation, training materials, and knowledge articles to support the global SAP transformation program. • Participating in project meetings, workshops, and reviews to ensure successful delivery of data migration projects. • Identifying and escalating potential risks or issues related to data migration, providing mitigation strategies and recommendations for resolution. • Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including functional, technical, and business teams. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, information systems, engineering). • At least 5 years of experience as an SAP PP and QM Functional Consultant or similar role. • Strong understanding of SAP PP and QM modules, including data models, workflows, and interfaces. • Experience with data migration projects, preferably in the life sciences sector. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
