Functional Assessor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Functional Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions to determine their eligibility for disability benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions to determine their eligibility for disability benefits;
• Utilize standardized assessment tools and protocols to gather information about an individual's impairment and its impact on their daily life;
• Analyze assessment data to make informed decisions about the individual's eligibility for disability benefits;
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing disability benefits;
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistent application of assessment protocols and decision-making processes;
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments and decisions;

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, occupational therapy, etc.);
• 2+ years of experience working with individuals with disabilities or health conditions;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word;
