Fun with French Afterschool Club Teacher - £35 per hour - London, Walthamstow area E17

Location: Primary school in Walthamstow, London (E17)

Schedule: Every Thursday, 3:30–4:30 PM, from 25th September to 4th December

Age Group: KS1 & KS2 pupils (ages 6–11)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging French teacher to lead our Fun with French Afterschool Club. The club aims to introduce children to the French language in a playful, interactive, and age-appropriate way, helping them build confidence through songs, games, stories, and fun activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children, is passionate about languages, and can create a lively and enjoyable learning environment.

Plan and deliver weekly 1-hour French sessions tailored for children aged 6–11.

Use creative methods (games, songs, arts & crafts, storytelling, role play) to make lessons fun and engaging.

Encourage participation and ensure a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Maintain good communication with school staff and follow safeguarding procedures.

Fluency in French (native or near-native level).

Experience teaching or working with primary school children (formal or informal).

Ability to manage and engage a group in a fun, structured way.

Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Right to work in the UK is required.

Day/Time: Thursdays, 3:30–4:30 PM

Term Dates: 25th September – 4th December

Location: Walthamstow, London (E17)

Pay: £35 per hour
