Fullstack Webdeveloper - PHP & JS

We are looking for an experienced developer, specializing in KI-basierte Webseiten-Übersetzungen and seeking to strengthen our team with a Fullstack Webdeveloper (m/w/d).

Conword is a growing start-up from Cologne. Our focus lies on KI-based translations of websites. With a small, engaged team and clear vision, we shape the future of digital inclusion and communication for national and international customers. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a developer who can expand and improve existing projects as well as take on new projects independently.

Your Tasks

• You develop new products - Front- and Backend
• Further development of existing products (based on JS, PHP)
• Customer support and consulting, help with using our software
• Tight cooperation with Marketing, Sales, and Product Management
• Creation of websites, landing pages
• Writing technical articles for the website

Your Profile

• You bring a Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent qualification with you
• You understand all these abbreviations: HTML CSS PHP JS SQL JSON AJAX SFTP API DEEPL
• You have already developed for some projects in Front- and Backend
• You can develop a project without KI support
• Chrome, Devtools, Stackoverflow, Slack, and co are your daily bread
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English

• You work independently and structured

• You are willing to work 1x a month in Cologne

Tasks

• Development and maintenance of Frontend- and Backend-components of web applications.
• Independent development of new software
• Example projects: Small portal for data management, browser add-on to edit content on a website, API connection for uploading files
• Error correction and debugging throughout the stack to ensure smooth operation.

Qualification

• Fundamental experience in development with PHP and JavaScript
• Familiarity with Frontend frameworks
• Fundamental knowledge of APIs
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Able to work independently in a small team
