Job description
We are looking for a business partner for cooperation as: Fullstack Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin, TypeScript) - Omnichannel Retail Logistics (B2B) dmTECH brings together over 1,400 experts from various technology areas, who daily create, maintain, and develop retailTECH solutions for the dm concern - one of Europe's largest drugstore chains. We operate in Germany, Austria, and Poland. Every day, the results of our work build the experiences of customers, people co-creating the organization, and business partners in 14 European countries, including our own. We create the retailTECH industry based on the latest solutions, collaborate agilely, and think long-term. Become our business partner and support the development of our technological solutions in Poland. Project: The Omnichannel Retail Logistics team at dmTECH develops and optimizes digital solutions supporting omnichannel logistics processes. The key direction of our efforts is the further development of systems handling orders from the dm online store and mobile application, their transfer to online distribution centers, order picking in stores, and integration with courier processes. Tech Stack: Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, SPA, GCP, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Cloud Foundry, GitLab, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Event-Driven Architecture, Microservices Cooperation Location: Hybrid (Wrocław) or 100% remote cooperation Cooperation Form: B2B Contract Remuneration: Mid: 100-140 PLN/h + VAT on B2B Senior: 140-180 PLN/h + VAT on B2B What our cooperation will involve: * Development and maintenance of services supporting the management of online orders and express orders. * Designing integrations between the online store, online distribution centers, dm stores, and courier, express, and parcel service providers based on event-driven architecture. * Translating logistics process requirements into stable, secure, and scalable technological solutions. * Supporting the quality of deployments and further application development within the cooperation with the product team. * Collaboration with dm business units and technological partners in refining requirements and developing logistics solutions. * Developing cloud-native applications and supporting the integration of solutions with GCP services. * Conscious and responsible use of AI tools supporting software development. Required Experience and Qualifications: * Minimum 3 years of experience in professional software development. * Practical knowledge of implementing microservices and event-driven architectures. * Good knowledge of Kotlin or Java programming languages and enterprise frameworks such as Spring Boot. * Experience in frontend development using TypeScript and Single Page Application (SPA). * Knowledge of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines - GitLab environment preferred. * Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools. * Basic knowledge of tools supporting software development with AI and a critical and responsible approach to their application. * Experience in agile team collaboration and readiness to independently lead agreed-upon topics. * Autonomy and solution orientation in service delivery. * Organized and meticulous approach to software design and development. * High communication skills and ability to collaborate in an international environment. * Readiness to learn new technologies and software development methods. * Very good knowledge of Polish and English (C1). Additional advantages will include: * Completed studies in computer science. * Experience in cloud-native development on GCP, supported by completed projects. * Experience working with GCP services such as Cloud SQL or Cloud Storage. * Ability to practically utilize Cloud Foundry as an application platform. * Knowledge of German at a minimum B1 level.
