Tasks

Fullstack Developer (m/w/d) with AI Affinity in Full-time

We are looking for a full-time Fullstack Developer (m/w/d) with AI affinity at our company's headquarters in Rottenburg am Neckar.

Your task area:

• Further development of our Shopware-based e-commerce platform, both in the frontend and backend
• Conceptualization and implementation of interfaces between shop, ERP, logistics, and other systems
• Implementation of new functions and UI components for an intuitive, user-friendly user experience
• Optimization of central shop pages (home page, categories, product detail pages, checkout) in terms of performance, usability
• Participation in the technical roadmap and development of our shop and integration architecture
• Use and integration of AI-based tools in the development workflow (e.g. Claude, Cursor, Copilot)
• Prototyping and evaluation of AI-based features for shop and internal applications
• Closely working with e-commerce management, marketing, design, and IT leadership on conceptualizing and implementing new features
• Code reviews, knowledge transfer to juniors and apprentices

Qualification

Your profile:

• Degree or training in computer science, web development, media design, or comparable
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a fullstack developer, ideally in e-commerce
• Very good knowledge of PHP with Symfony and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with Shopware (6) or similar shop systems (Shopify, Magento, Spryker) is strongly advantageous
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js, React) and template engines (Twig)
• Practical experience in API and interface development (REST, ideally also messaging/queueing)
• Understanding of clean code, tests, Git workflows, and CI/CD
• Demonstrable, productive use of AI tools in the developer workflow
• Bonus: Knowledge of Figma and Adobe product family
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and experience in mobile-first design
• Structured, result-oriented work style, team fit, and initiative
• Very good German and good English skills in writing and speaking
