Fullstack Developer Java / Angular (m/f/d) – Mid-Level

Who we are

Rockstardevelopers, founded in 2015 in Mannheim, with further offices in Stuttgart and Munich. We are a software development company with experience from hundreds of individual projects for enterprise and medium-sized clients.

Short paths, honest feedback, no political games. No hierarchy levels between you and the people who make decisions.

Your tasks

You will work on client projects for large companies and public clients, embedded in their teams. You will take ownership of individual features from the interface to the frontend, with experienced colleagues available for support.

• Fullstack development with Java/Spring Boot and Angular
• Independently implement, test, and deliver features
• Generate, review, and refactor code with Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor
• Give and receive code reviews
• Coordinate with Product Owners, UX, and DevOps

Most people come to one of the offices one to two days a week. However, there is no obligation. You will only be on-site with the client for individual appointments every few weeks, mostly in Frankfurt am Main.

Where you will land

Depending on the project: Large corporations like Deutsche Bahn / DB Systel, public sector and authorities, enterprise and medium-sized clients from various industries. Our clients almost exclusively staff these projects with permanent employees. That's why we are looking for you as a permanent hire.

What you bring

At least three years of professional experience as a developer, counted from training or studies.

We expect:

• Java (17+) and Spring Boot
• Angular with TypeScript
• REST interfaces and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Tests with JUnit as part of the Definition of Done
• Git, CI/CD, agile working

Advantageous (not a must):

• LLM integration into applications (RAG, Tool-Calling, Agents), even from a side project
• Docker and Kubernetes, Kafka
• Kotlin, Camunda (BPMN process automation), Keycloak/OAuth 2.0
• AWS or Azure, JPA/Hibernate
• Frontend tests (Jest, Playwright, Cypress), Accessibility (BITV 2.0 / WCAG AA)

You don't have to know everything. The important thing is that you are confident on both sides and can quickly get up to speed with new stacks.

AI Tools are mandatory, not a bonus

Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor: You must be able to work productively with these. Our clients expect it, and that's how we work too. We invest in your AI skills internally.
