About the role: As a Fullstack Developer at Wrisk, you’ll be a crucial part of a small, collaborative, and agile engineering team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the Wrisk platform, from the frontend user interface to the backend API services and infrastructure. You will be working on a variety of exciting projects, including new features, integrations, and performance improvements. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, test, and deploy new features and improvements to the Wrisk platform. * Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. * Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products. * Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. * Troubleshoot and debug issues. * Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes. Requirements: * Strong understanding of web development principles. * Experience with frontend technologies such as React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. * Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python or similar. * Experience with RESTful APIs. * Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL. * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS. * Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker. * Experience with testing frameworks. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Bonus points for: * Experience in the insurance industry. * Experience with DevOps practices. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines. * Experience with GraphQL. * Experience with microservices architecture.
