Fullstack Developer (m/f/d)

Metanoia IT is a software company from Hamburg. We develop digital products and scalable SaaS solutions – but not for everyone. Instead of spreading ourselves too thin, we consciously focus on a small number of selected projects and work with established long-term clients for them.

Our clients are established SaaS and medium-sized companies with their own software, SaaS spin-offs, and their own projects – companies that keep the startup spirit alive: fast decisions, real proximity to the product, and a desire to think things through together.

With us, you are not a cog in the machine, but work in depth on a few projects – from concept to fine-tuning. The focus is clearly on clean, modern fullstack development with JavaScript and TypeScript. You work remotely, independently, and with a modern stack, in an environment with flat hierarchies and short communication channels.

Tasks

• Development and further development of modern web applications in the frontend and backend
• Involvement in a few long-term SaaS and software projects for our regular customers – from new features to the further development of existing platforms
• Close collaboration with customers and product owners on technical concepts and solutions
• Implementation and integration of databases, APIs, and cloud services. If necessary, development of LLM and agent-enhanced features as a sensible addition to existing products
• Responsibility for clean, maintainable, and scalable code. Co-design of architecture and technology decisions

Qualifications

• Experience as a fullstack developer with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS or comparable)
• Proficient in databases (SQL & NoSQL) and cloud services (AWS, Hetzner, or Azure). Good understanding of software architecture, clean code, and DevOps processes
• The ability to develop and meaningfully integrate LLM and agent-enhanced functions
• Independent working style, quality awareness, and enjoyment of deep dives into projects
• German language skills at least at C1 level
