The Fast Forward IT GmbH is a family-owned full-service agency from Düsseldorf. For over ten years, we have been developing digital platforms, customer portals, and integration solutions for companies in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, mechanical engineering, and insurance.
We are a small, technically oriented team with short decision-making paths and an open culture of address. Instead of large hierarchies and long coordination rounds, we work directly on the systems for which we also bear responsibility – from architecture to development to operation.

As Fullstack Developer:in, you will work on features in enterprise projects – from individual solutions to extending standard software to integrating existing systems. You will work closely with architects and Dev Leads, setting requirements from technical conception to implementation. In doing so, you will take responsibility for clean implementations, stable interfaces, and maintainable code that can be further developed in the long term.

• Development of features end-to-end – from frontend to backend
• Implementation of modern web frontends with a focus on structure, performance, and clean implementation (HTML, CSS, Typescript)
• Development of backend services, APIs, and integration layers
• Implementation of business logic and data processing in the backend
• Development of microservices and middleware components
• Work in different technological contexts (frontend, backend, or both) including technology and stack changes
• Further development of existing systems including legacy code and modernizationMitarbeit at technical concepts, architecture decisions, and code reviews

Qualifikation

• At least 4 years of experience in software development
• Experience with Java, Typescript or similar technologies
• Experience with REST APIs and system integration
• Experience with modern web frameworks
• Basic understanding of software architecture and modular systems
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows
• Interest in clean, maintainable code and clean-code principles
• Ideal experience with KI-based features or integrations, for example in the context of assistant systems, automation, intelligent search or data-driven applications
• Readiness for occasional on-site meetings at customers (nationwide)
• Very good German language skills (C1) and good English language skills (B2)
