Fullstack Developer: Frontend, UX, Mobile - Legal AI (m/f/d)

Silvernova has grown from 0 to over 400 law firms in 15 months. Our investors are high-caliber VCs and partners from renowned law firms such as YPOG, CMS, and Neon.

We offer an AI associate that thinks within the lawyer's case file. Optimized for complex case work in factual assessment, legal evaluation, and drafting. This saves lawyers up to 4 hours of work time daily.

Behind our associate are our own preprocessing, legal knowledge models, and a highly specialized agent ecosystem, which our RAG, Backend, AI Ops, and Cloud teams work on. Now we are looking for someone to bring this technology even better to where it matters: into the hands of lawyers.

Responsibilities

As a Fullstack Developer with a focus on Frontend and UX, you will be responsible for everything our users will see, touch, and love. You will design and implement features end-to-end: from the initial sketch through the prototype to the release. You will work closely with our CTO, the product team, and directly with our customers.

Here's a more detailed overview:

• Design & Mockups: You will design interfaces, flows, and interactions, e.g., in Figma, and make complex AI functions intuitively usable for legal professionals.
• Prototyping: You will quickly build clickable prototypes, test them with real users, and make data-driven decisions about what goes into production.
• Frontend Development: You will further develop our Angular frontend (zard/ui) and ensure a fast, stable, and consistent application.
• Mobile & Web: You will bring Silvernova to new devices, whether iOS, Android, or as a Web App.
• AI Tools: You will develop the tools and small helpers around our AI associate that make daily work in law firms noticeably easier, including the necessary backend integration (Python/Flask).
• End-to-End Ownership: You will be responsible for features from customer request to monitoring after release and develop the functionalities that users talk about with their colleagues.

What you don't have to take on: AI pipeline, architecture, databases, and cloud infrastructure are handled by colleagues. You can concentrate fully on the user experience.

Qualifications

You combine an eye for good design with clean engineering. You can not only design an idea but also build and deliver it yourself. You enjoy immersing yourself deeply in the perspective of your users and delivering results quickly in a high-growth startup.

• Frontend Excellence: Profound experience with TypeScript and Angular, including performance optimization. Experience with React or Vue is also welcome.
• Design Competence: You have a feel for design, usability, and details, and you work confidently with Figma or comparable tools.
• Fullstack Understanding: You can navigate Python/Flask and connect or extend backend interfaces for your features yourself.
• Mobile Development: Ideally, you have already developed apps for iOS, Android, or as a PWA.
• Engineering Practice: You work with GitHub and CI/CD, write tests, and use monitoring (e.g., Sentry, Matomo, CloudWatch) to understand how your features are actually used.
• Professional Experience: You have already developed SaaS applications and have experience in directly capturing and implementing customer requirements. Experience in developing AI tools is a plus.
• Agile Working: You have practical experience with Scrum.
• Ownership is a central component of your work at Silvernova. You can demonstrate through work experience how you have independently and responsibly implemented projects successfully.
• Willingness to Learn: You quickly familiarize yourself with new topics, tools, and frameworks.
• Languages: German at C1 level or native speaker, and English at at least C1 level.
