Full time System Analyst

Blackbox Marketing Pty Ltd T/A Blackbox Design & Digital is looking for a full-time Data Analyst to join our team.

Salary Range – $80,000 – $90,000

Business Location – West Perth, WA 6005

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, process, validate, and securely store data using approved data collection and management procedures.
• Evaluate data accuracy, integrity, and reliability to ensure high-quality analytical outcomes.
• Analyse and interpret data to produce meaningful statistics, identify trends and patterns, and support problem-solving and decision-making.
• Apply data analytics, modelling, and visualisation techniques to generate insights that support business strategy.
• Prepare presentations, dashboards, charts, and written reports to communicate analytical findings to stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain data governance processes to ensure ethical data use and compliance with organisational standards.
• Develop and maintain automated scripts, queries, or code (e.g., SQL, Python, R) to streamline data processing and analytical workflows.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to understand data requirements and deliver customised analytical solutions.
• Monitor data quality, address discrepancies, and perform continuous improvement on data pipelines.
• Support system enhancements by assessing new tools, technologies, and data analytics methodologies.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualisation within a business environment.
• Proficiency in analytical tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of data governance, data ethics, and secure data management practices.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights clearly through reports and visualisations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
