Full-Time Revenue Manager

Job description

Objective of the position:

Apply revenue management methods (Revenue Management) to one or more hotels to maximize revenue according to hotel strategies, brand positioning, and customer needs.

Your challenge will be:

  • Conduct studies on prices, client mix / channels, demand behavior to develop rate proposals, availability, and other sales conditions for different channels and clients, based on history, expectations of demand, and market trends, considering the brand's differentials.
  • Attend hotel teams and management, analyzing results (performance indices) and evolution of reservations for each unit, identifying opportunities and defining short-term strategies linked to tariff and client mix, aiming to boost revenue and considering business scope (specific region, brand, segment...).
  • Support managers in applying approved strategies, as well as managing availability / inventory.
  • Prepare reports and conduct presentations directed at managers and investors.
  • Present results of hotels under your responsibility to senior management.
  • Conduct weekly meetings for alignment of strategy with hotels.
  • Develop demand and revenue forecasts for hotels in the short term, ensuring their accuracy.
  • Maintain updated RM strategy in online reservation systems and monitor offline systems, ensuring compatibility with approved strategy.
  • Train hotel operation teams to ensure data quality and proper use of RM and Pricing systems (RMS, Smart Pricing…).
  • Disseminate and maintain a culture of RM (Revenue Management) among hotels you work with.
  • Maintain yourself updated on the hospitality segment, economic indicators, competitor actions and results, event calendars in different markets you serve, and other factors affecting revenue.
  • Participate in hotel budget processes and monitor fluctuations, analyzing deviations.
  • Make good use of and take care of facilities, furniture, equipment, tools, and materials at your disposal, as well as keep your workspace organized and clean.

  • Perform other related tasks, according to the area's needs and superior's discretion.
