GERMAN BANGERS PTY LTD, trading as Brat Haus Authentic German Sausage, is a growing Queensland-based food business specialising in authentic German sausages. Operating from our flagship store and Bratmobile food trucks, we bring high-quality food and memorable customer experiences to markets, festivals, and large-scale events.

Key Responsibilities

As a Retail Manager, you will organise and control retail operations across our store and mobile outlets, with responsibilities including:

• Overseeing Bratmobile operations at markets, festivals, and pop-up venues.
• Leading, rostering, training, and supervising staff across multiple outlets.
• Planning product range, monitoring stock levels, and managing inventory to avoid shortages.
• Developing and implementing sales strategies, pricing policies, and promotional campaigns to drive results.
• Designing and maintaining engaging stall layouts and merchandising to attract customers.
• Ensuring excellent customer service standards and managing customer feedback or complaints.
• Overseeing daily financial operations, including point-of-sale, cash handling, and reconciliation.
• Preparing and monitoring budgets while maintaining accurate records of sales and stock.
• Coordinating logistics for large-scale events, including transport, equipment, and scheduling.
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, workplace health and safety, and food handling regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Retail, or Management (Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant retail management experience (in food or hospitality) if no relevant formal qualifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of inventory management, marketing, and sales strategies.
• Understanding of WHS and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Event coordination and logistics experience are advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
