Full-Time Kitchenhand Needed

Our company, Wong Brothers Investments Pty Ltd runs several Chinese restaurants located in Townsville, Queensland. We are now looking for full time, qualified and experienced Kitchenhand.

Salary: $69,000 p.a. + Super

To be successful for this opportunity as Kitchenhand, you will need to be:

Task & Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and slicing ingredients.
• Support cooks by performing simple cooking, baking, and food plating tasks as directed.
• Maintain kitchen stock by restocking food supplies, ingredients, and workstations.
• Set up before service and pack down/clean kitchen stations and equipment.
• Strictly follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Perform cleaning duties, including washing dishes and utensils, and manage kitchen waste.

Qualification Required:

Holds a Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or Certificate II in Hospitality

Work Experience and Skills Required:

• At least 3 year work experience in Kitchenhand roles.

Australian citizens or permanent residents only.

Successful candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
