Full time Heavy Diesel Motor Mechanic

Rehmat K Pty Ltd T/A Max Auto and Smash is looking for a Full time Heavy Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our team.

Salary Range = $75000 - $85000
Business Location - Maddingley VIC 3340

Key Responsibilities

• Detect and diagnose faults in engines and vehicle components.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, suspension, and braking systems.
• Replace worn and defective parts using manufacturer specifications and service manuals.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups to ensure vehicles run efficiently and comply with emission standards.
• Test, adjust, and calibrate repaired mechanical parts to confirm proper performance.
• Use diagnostic equipment and computer systems to test vehicle components.
• Inspect vehicles, provide roadworthiness assessments, and identify required repairs.

Skills & Experience

• Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification).
• Proven experience in diesel motor and heavy vehicle mechanics.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
