Full-time Cook

RHA Enterprises Pty Ltd T/A Bua Ji Restaurant is seeking a qualified and experienced Full-time Cook to join our team in Diamond Creek, VIC 3089.

Salary Range: $75,000 – $80,000

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess food items to maintain quality standards.
• Monitor and adjust temperatures of ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment.
• Prepare, cook, and present a wide variety of dishes.
• Season dishes appropriately throughout the cooking process.
• Portion and plate meals with appropriate garnishes, sauces, and accompaniments.
• Store food safely in temperature-controlled environments.
• Prepare meals to accommodate special dietary needs.
• Assist with menu planning and estimating food and ingredient requirements.
• Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen staff and apprentices when required.

Skills and Qualifications

• AQF associate degree, Certificate III, Certificate IV, or Diploma certification in relevant Hospitality qualification.
• Prior Experience as a Cook.
• Strong Knowledge of Cooking Methods and operating kitchen tools and equipment
• Ability to work Full Time
• Flexible to work on a rotating roster.
